Omega Recycling was founded by environmental services expert, James Nerger, in 2012 as a response to the growing need for reuse and recycling solutions for unique materials and by-product streams.
Omega recycling’s story
The idea for Omega Recycling originated while James was the President of a chemical recycling and distillation facility in New Jersey. On a daily basis his team was coming across materials that did not have simple reuse or recycling options. Due to this, these materials were being disposed of and incurring substantial environmental and economic costs.
These situations sparked the idea for Omega Recycling - a company fully dedicated to finding solutions for materials and by-product streams that do not have easy reuse or recycling solutions.
Since 2012, Omega Recycling has found reuse and recycling options for hundreds of materials. We’ve used our unique service to keep hundreds of thousands of pounds from being disposed of and have saved our clients thousands of dollars. With new and unique opportunities coming through the door every day, we’re excited to see what is in store as we continue to grow.
